I have many fond memories of wandering around my local video rental stores, blockbusters, and even my public library looking through the various titles, not just new releases. I would deep dive into classic films and continued to rent VHS well after DVD became the new format. While I strive for the best contemporary cinematic quality in my filmmaking the VHS aesthetic will always have a special place in my heart. It's how I first viewed many of my favorite films. And I always dreamed of having one of my films sitting on the VHS rental shelf someday. Well, times change but as the writer and director of The Tale of a Pusher, I'm happy to release this limited edition (ONLY 100) Official VHS of my first narrative feature film. As the director, I have painstakingly gone through the entirety of the film recomposing every single shot (including the tried and true method of pan and scan) to ensure that the film has been optimized for the classic 4:3 aspect ratio of VCRs.
