Red Carnelian and Huge Hoop Earrings

These impactful, striking earrings are made with Carnelian stones in a lovely deep, rich red and a very large hoop.  Large hoops with stone dangles were very popular in the 1780s and 1790s, when big hair meant you needed big earrings to show!  These are a fun style that combines the size with the bright red stone.  They measure nearly 2.5" long.  They are available with hoop findings (shown), leverback, or clip-ons.
