This is a Japanese version of our native Smilacina racemosa. Frothy panicles of starry white flowers dance above each stem, turning to red berries in fall as the foliage turns golden. Prefers mostly shade, and some summer water. Perfect for underneath big conifers here in the PNW. Mature size: 15 in T x 1-2 ft W, clump-forming Minimum temperature: -20° F
