Sanicula [Haquetia] epipactis 'Thor', Dwarf Masterwort

Early spring blooms, thoroughly variegated white and light green with yellow, domed centers, are a breath of fresh air in the shade garden. They bloom a bit before and during their tri-lobed, deeply cut leaves emerge, also variegated, but at the margins. Together, they make an extremely unique, low, clump-forming mound. Mature size: 8 inches tall and very slowly spreading by rhizomes. Minimum temperature: -20° F
