Seemannia (syn. Gloxinia) sylvatica 'Bolivian Sunset', Hardy Gloxinia

Shiny, DARK green leaves with burgundy stems contrast eye-popping, bright, red-orange blooms. This is a relatively new addition to our inventory, but so far we have found that it is more likely to be evergreen in a protected situation (in our case, a slightly winter-heated greenhouse) than other Seemannias we've grown. Free-draining soil is required! Also adaptable as a houseplant. Mature size: 12 in T x 18 in W Minimum temperature: 10° F
