A native of Southern Oregon and Northern California, V. planipetala has glossy evergreen leaves and unique small white flowers with yellow-tipped beaks. Petals are reflexed, lifting a bit like tiny parachutes. Its handsome bronze-red new growth is distinctive amongst Vancouveria species. Disease- and pest-free. 1.5' T&W Minimum temperature: -20° F
