There are auto-gated Elbit PH white phosphor MX-11769 image intensifiers with ZERO reported spots. This means these exceed even aviator spot specification minimums. MX-11769 format are manual gain control image tubes. PH are a higher grade than lower tier XLSH and SLH tubes. The manual gain control pigtail on these image tubes can be removed for use in non manual gain binocular housings.
