Built for durability, this valve box fits over valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation accessories and allows easy access for maintenance. The green box and green lid are engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for added strength to prevent damage from the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. Cut-out pipe hole enables direct irrigation pipe connections. Built-in bolt hole includes a brass nut; lid can be secured with a 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolt (113BB, sold separately) if desired. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and other debris from entering the valve box and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver.
