Joys of Summer

Joys of Summer was a particular favorite to paint because of it's ridiculously fun leaves! Inspired by some of our beloved coleus plants that we grow in pots on our deck and front porch every year, I couldn't resist painting some coleus with these bright fuchsia flowers!  My favorite varieties of coleus are any of the ones with pink on the leaves, so getting to paint them was a treat!  This is the first ever canvas painting we've released, featuring any type of abstract coleus leaf! Another really sweet touch on Joys of Summer, is the darling little yellow and white accent flowers....they're subtle but add a touch of softness that contrasts those big, bold focal flowers!   This one is sure to brighten any space, and hopefully serve as a reminder of some of your own Joys of Summer!
