One-Of-A-Kind Stucco Table Lamp

This piece is a collaboration between me and the two Dannys in the studio. Danny P, my assistant, is an ace on the potters wheel and was able to make my idea of a larger scale lamp base come to life. He followed my design to throw this beauty on the wheel, creating its unique shape without molds or jiggers. After trimming I applied the thick fluffy slip to mimic a bark-like texture. Danny O. added the hand-turned walnut neck and finished it with natural oils. As with all of our lamps, we used nickel hardware and harp. This lamp is topped with a 100% linen barrel shade in a beautiful oatmeal color. One of a kind.
