DS & Durga Peanut Sample

Our DS & Durga Peanut Review: Peanut is a nice take on the concept that actually doesn't smell kitschy, yet still comes through with the vibe it's going for! For those who aren't aware, raw vetiver oil smells a lot like roasted peanuts, and this has very noticeable vetiver in it. We also do get a sense of the shell/husk, in a way that feels nostalgic, and weirdly cozy/comforting yet surprisingly borderline sexy. (Talk about unexpected!) As it develops, a soft pillowy slightly vanilla-ish vibe surrounds the peanutty vetiver, yet it still doesn't get over the top gourmand. And unlike we initially feared, this doesn't just smell like a jokey peanut butter scent. We actually find it very wearable and nice!
