Recommended leather thickness:• Firm: 2.5-3.5 oz• Medium-Firm: 4.0-5.0 ozPreparation – Cut the following leather pieces: • Two: Pocket• Two: BodyAssembly1. (Optional) Finish bevel and burnish, or paint the top edge of the pocketpieces2. Glue one pocket piece to the grain side of one body piecea. Glue line width recommendation: about 3/16” along the side and bottom edges of the pocket piece3. Repeat step 24. Glue the flesh sides of the two body pieces together (avoid gluing above thetop edge of the pocket pieces)5. Trim/sand any areas where the pieces may be stacked unevenly6. Sew everything togethera. The path of the stitch line should roughly follow edges7. (Optional) Finish bevel and burnish, or paint the edges
