e When we considered offering Kit Carsones very popular aluminum M16e design in a more affordable build, we turned to our very successful InterFrame construction. Instead of aluminum handles, we use tough, textured Zytele scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner interframe. We over-build it for rigidity, using precision machined stainless steel back spacers. And we assemble the handle with superior offset Torxe fasteners. The handle is slightly heftier and wider than our aluminum build M16, but it is exceptionally rigid. To some of us, it actually fills the hand better. We use our tough AUS 4 high carbon stainless steel for the blades to give greater everyday utility, and offer both Razor-Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Pointe Serrated edges.
