Please choose your kit colorway from the dropdown menu.   This class is for members of the Wild West Bead Society in Texas.  Please sign up by June 12th to be sure your kit arrives in time for class.  I'll be out of town June 14th - 23rd and will not be shipping kits during that time. The Zephyr necklace uses a 16-warp variation of the half-round braid structure.  What's neat about doubling the number of warps is how dramatically the shape changes!  What was mostly flat is now sturdy, thick, and has an interesting trapezoidal cross-section. Ready for a long Japanese name?  Kawari Hira Kara Gumi.  Some of those words you may already know from other braids.  Kara is from China and Gumi is braid.  Hira means flat and broad.  Kawari is variation.  So this very descriptive Japanese title means a variation of a flat braid from China.
