This artwork represents the feeling of sadness. The kind of sadness that is all-consuming, like a storm cloud so heavy it seems like the rain might never end. The rain drops are made of glitter and gems to represent the bliss of helplessness that I feel when I am sad. This piece is a canvas study for my larger piece: Sadness.
