Masterpiece Auspicious Tingsha Set
These exquisite artisan quality tingshas are incredibly rare. We haven't been able to source them in a few years but were able to find a handful this year! Handmade and hand tuned in Nepal, this set comes inside of a handcrafted copper and brass case carved with amazing detail. Tingshas are used by Buddhists as sound offerings or as a way to clear space prior to meditation. Each tingsha features repeating seated Buddhas, dorjes, and garuda designs. A seated Buddha promotes the energy of meditation and deep contemplation. It indicates the perfect balance of thought, rest of the senses, and tranquility. Symbolically, a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment.' The handcrafted metal case is decorated with the 8 Auspicious Symbols. In Buddhist legend, the 8 Auspicious Symbols represent offerings the gods made to the Buddha after his enlightenment. It is believed that each of these symbols have powers to bring blessings. Case measures approximately 5 inches in diameter
