  This is a 5x7 art print of my original watercolor painting "Rails across the Heartland" The format of these small watercolors reminds me of the old polaroid snapshots so I call this series my "watercolor snapshots".   Did you know that I grew up in Nebraska? The railroad went right through the center of our town.  I also remember following the tracks along the highway through every small town where a scene like this one was very common.  I painted this imaginary scene inspired by those memories.
