Yuletide Romance Barbie Doll 1996 Mattel #15621 Through the Years Greetings cards became popular during the reign of Queen Victoria in England, the latter half of the 19th century. German immigrant Louis Prang popularized the Christmas card in America with his introduction of special lithographic processes in 1875. J.C. Hall arrived in Kansas City in 1910 with a supply of picture postcards, the beginning of Hallmark Cards. Mattel, Inc. introduced the first Barbie doll in 1959 at the American International Toy Fair in New York City. Series of Special Edition Barbie dolls created especially for Hallmark and based on their historical archives were first offered in 1994. New in box. Box has some shelf wear.
