
Computer Nitrox Specialty
Nitrox is a different type of breathing gas that can increase safety margins, reduce post dive fatigue, and extend no-decompression times. This class will teach you how to use nitrox mixtures up to 40% with a dive computer, the advantages, and disadvantages to different nitrox mixtures, and how to analyze the mixtures. MYTH: Nitrox allows you to dive deeper---WRONG! With a 32% mixture you can only go to 112 feet and with a 36% mixture you can only go to 95 feet. There are special depth tables used only for Nitrox. You will learn all about these things in the course!
