1930s/40s Handmade Two-Piece Rust Brown Skirt Set with Embroidery

Stunning handmade two-piece vintage set from the late 1930s to early 1940s in a rich rust brown rayon crepe. The top features beautiful soutache embroidery on the collar and large front patch pockets, self-covered buttons all the way down, and slight shoulder gathering for that classic ’30s silhouette. The matching midi-length skirt has a hook-and-eye closure and a flattering A-line drape. Top has covered buttons and the skirt has hook & eye + side metal zip closure. Likely rayon or a rayon blend with a soft matte texture. This set is handmade with visible care and period-authentic construction. A truly rare find in great antique condition. There is very faint discoloration at the underarms (see photos), priced accordingly. Presents beautifully overall.
