This limited edition 11 year old expression from Islay's Bunnahabhain Distillery was drawn from Manzanilla sherry casks, which have imparted oodles of rich and intriguing notes to the whisky's flavour profile. Expect salted caramel, dried fruit and chocolate aplenty here. Sharp baking spice, dark chocolate, lemon peel, pretzels, almond, pecan, gingerbread, more caramel, coastal vibes with a nice salinity throughout. Water adds additional sugar sweetness and some orange citrus ABV: 52.3%
