UVB is an essential wavelength naturally found in sunlight, and is beneficial for most — if not all — reptiles. UVB is critical to helping your pet’s bones stay healthy and strong, and plays a role in a variety of other essential functions. The Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact UVB is a UVB bulb with 5% UVB output and 30% UVA output to stimulate natural reptile behaviors and promote better health. This bulb can be conveniently installed into a standard threaded socket. Instructions for Use: Install the Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact UVB in a Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood and place over the basking area.
