Toscana Barberry is a compact upright-branching deciduous shrub valued for its vibrant foliage that grows full to the ground. Its leaves are large for a Barberry and emerge in spring a showy red with a fine yellow margin that fades in summer as the leaves darken and eventually gains a burgundy tone in fall. Best color in full sun ad well-drained soils. Drought and deer resistant.
