Martin Margiela BWNT Spring 2003 Inside Out Wool Cardigan With Lurex Stitching by Miss Deanna
Maison Martin Margiela BWNT Spring 2003 Inside Out Wool Cardigan With Lurex Stitching by Miss Deanna BWNT Sz:M A rebellious cardigan from Martin’s spring 2003 collection, featuring a flipper inside out wool cardigan with some shiny lurex stitching that extends over the garment into loose threads. The cardigan is produced by Miss Deanna, an Italian designer who worked with Martin over his career to produce highly experimental knitwear such as this piece here. The cardigan is made with a wool cotton blend that makes it suitable for any weather or season. The cardigan is very simply flipped inside out with its buttons facing inwards and its seams facing outwards, which in the turn the lurex stitching provides good contrast to stand out. Notably there are a lot of small stitches and hand pressed details that slightly hitches up the edges as shown to create a sort of worn effect, which is truly amazing to say the least for this amount of detail and world building for a garment to have.
