Mimi Thorisson is a French food writer and cookbook author in addition to being a passionate and accomplished cook, habitually hosting large feasts and events in addition to cooking most days and nights for her large family. She is the author of two French cookbooks, A Kitchen in France and French Country Cooking and most recently an Italian volume, Old Word Italian, all published by Penguin Random House NY. Her books have been published in multiple territories and translated in over 10 languages. For years she wrote the award winning food blog, Manger, and hosted, for several seasons, the TV show "La Table de Mimi" on France's Canal+ which was broadcasted worldwide.
