Description Rubio Monocoat Fumed Rubio Monocoat Fumed creates aged, gray-tinted effects on specifically oak wood. It does this by reacting with the tannic acid within the wood without releasing any toxic, irritating fumes or vapors. Since each piece of oak contains a different level of tannin, each use of Fumed will be personalized and unique. Rubio Fumed is pre-treatment only and does not protect the wood. It has to be combined with Rubio Monocoat finishing products for maximum protection. Rubio Fumed is designed to be post-treated with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus.
