RF Shield® SCIF Barrier is a U.S.-made product specifically designed for use in SCIF Rooms (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities). This product is perforated, allowing moisture (at a molecular level) to pass through the material, while blocking radio frequencies.  Featuring a strong woven polyethylene core, this FI-FOIL® product provides tear resistance and is sandwiched between two highly reflective aluminum surfaces. Additionally, the RF shielding component consists of two (2) outer layers of 99% pure aluminum foil, an inner layer of fiberglass reinforcement, and Kraft paper, all of which are produced in the United States. This RF shielding offers exceptional sound attenuation and has been thoroughly tested and approved by an NSA-authorized TEMPEST facility to meet or exceed shielding effectiveness requirements at 378 frequencies.
