The genesis for the collaboration was a chance meeting Summer 2023 between Kalyn and Mikaela Pabon at Beyonce's BeyGood Black Parade luncheon held in Brooklyn, NY.  Both Kalyn and Mikaela were fans of one anothers online, but meeting in real life at the luncheon solidified the synergies between the two women and ultimately their brands.
