Customary Tradition

With its beautifully detailed floral lid, this vintage enamel compact would be a lovely addition to any vanity table - if used in the traditional sense.  Giving new life to unexpected objects has become quite customary around the Elva studio, however, so the compact is now a statement-making pendant.  Encircled by polished cornflower blue jasper beads and completed at the back by a blue glass jeweled gilt copper clasp, it may seem unconventional to some, but for our Elva-enthusiasts it's a continuation of what has become tradition. Measures 18.5" in length.
