Sometimes Not Knowing

Sometimes not knowing how it might all work out is a happy adventure. We found these beads last fall, sure that we'd find a way to work the polished blue sponge coral beauties into a design that would be timeless and stunning. Instead, they remained in our studio for months, not having found the right pairing of a vintage accompaniment. Fast forward to late spring, when we discovered a trio of vintage rhinestone brooches that seemed happiest together, and the story really began to unfold. Adding a few faceted Indian silver beads and a silvered copper toggle clasp, the overall effect is whimsical-yet-wearable, a beautiful mix of sparkle and subtlety. Measures 18.5" in length.
