Sure of Growth

You can be sure of growth when faced with difficulty, and these beautiful blooms are a wonderful reminder to notice and appreciate the (sometimes uncomfortable) stretch. (They're called growing pains for a reason, right?) We were delighted to find these bright blue blooms at auction last month; their enameled petals lined with gilt brass, the brooch is a vintage design from the 1940s. Set against beads of matte-finished deep green-blue fire agate and faceted turquoise, the arrangement is artful and inspiring. Measures 19" in length with a gilt copper toggle clasp at back.
