
Trust the Process
5x7 Toned cyanotype and watercolor on paper. Unframed, sealed with archival varnish. Inspiration: In the beginning, this piece was simply a pile of flowers and a bit of optimism. Over time, it gained depth as I brought the shapes into the foreground and dyed the background with green tea. The movement and textures that emerged could only have come from trusting the process—and allowing the unknown to take shape through faith and patience. The Series at Large: Becoming was born out of self-reflection and a desire to pause and ask: Who am I? Who am I becoming? And is the path I’m on still the right one for the person I hope to grow into?What began as four large-scale works somehow turned into a full story—with seven smaller pieces rounding out the series, each holding its own little whisper of truth.
