Small Ceramic Sculpture Class | Kelli | September 6th - October 11th

4 week course, Saturdays from 10am - 12pm. September 6th - October 11th Please note, there will be NO class on September 27th and October 4th, this gives time for projects to dry and be bisque fired so they're ready for glazing on the 11th. APPLY HERE. In this course, led by pottery instructor Kelli Vaupel, the fundamentals of hand-building small-scale ceramic sculptures will be covered. Students will be taught a variety of ways that complex forms can be created with clay (coil building, slab building, reinforcing fragile parts of the sculpture). Students will create their project from start to finish going through the process of designing, building, and glazing their sculpture.
