Splitting maul has been nicknamed “Ol’ No.7”, and will bridge the gap between the often “too heavy” 8 lbs. and the “not heavy enough” 6 lbs. versions.The new design incorporates a more compact head, with a concave-wedge shape to the blade, and wider body to give more “pop” to the split.
