"Eirene"

"Eirene" is a piece from my new series Ephemeral. This artwork was created by eco-printing with flowers (that I planted on my balcony) onto up-cycled cotton fabric and then hand-stitching a drawing with threads of varying thicknesses. The work has been stretched on canvas bars and framed in natural wood with UV protective and anti-glare glass. This series reminds us both with materials and subject matter that we grace this planet for a blink in time, but that there is exuberant beauty within that glimpse. Like us humans, growing and changing with time, the printed flowers will to change and shift.  Framed Dimensions: 10"x16" For proper care, keep out of direct sunlight and away from humidity.
