Emotional Oranges - The Juice Vol. 1 LP

The mysterious Los Angeles R&B duo Emotional Oranges make smooth R&B tracks that draw from both 1990s inspirations and more modernized sounds. Their pleasantly polished sound incorporates interplay between male and female vocalists over slick, radio-ready production. Initially emerging from unknown origins and going only as "A" and "V," the pair went from releasing singles to sharing full-length projects like 2022's The Juice, Vol. 3. They collaborated with Nigerian artist Nonso Amadi on the 2024 EP Blended. Emotional Oranges' debut song, "Motion," appeared in May 2018. The group made little known about themselves in the press, but let the music speak for itself. A few months later, the follow-up single "Personal" arrived.
