Iron Buffalo Necklace with Sapphires and Magnolia Leaf Texture

Iron Buffalo Necklace with Sapphires and Magnolia Leaf Texture Coming from Nevada, Iron Buffalo is a relative of White Buffalo (often called White Buffalo turquoise), and is made of white, yellow, and/or red dolomite in brecciated black chert. I have designed this large modern necklace with a curved bail bisecting the surface of a leaf imprint. The silver rounds at the top and bottom are small water castings, and yellow and blue sapphires on the outer edge reflect the colors in the stone. I've patterned the bezel and the back as well, and given the silver a dark patina and a matte finish. • This substantial pendant is 3 1/8" tall (as measured from the top of the bail) by about 2" wide.  • The natural Iron Buffalo cabochon is approximately 37mm x 22mm.  • The natural yellow and blue sappires are 3mm and 2mm respectively.  • The sterling silver chain is a 20" long box chain.
