"The Three Amigos"

Artist: Janice Bock Medium: Pastels Dimensions: 12 x 16 Unframed Artistic Perspective: This is from a photo near the Topaz Jetty when I noticed three young boys heading off into the surf together.  Redondo Beach is is a great place to start to learn to surf as the waves are good but not "killer" waves.  I tried surfing once in a class sponsored by the city.  I caught one good wave and now I understand the thrill. Artist Statement: I experiment constantly as I paint in oil, pastel, collage, watercolor and acrylics.  I have been accepted into many shows in the past two years and have sold many pieces.
