
Hammock Mosquito Net
Bugs and crawly creatures can very quickly ruin a good nap or a night of wilderness sleep, but Hammock Mosquito Net can prevent such catastrophes. Designed specifically to fit over and around EXPED Scout and Travel Hammocks, it creates a comfortable, bite-free environment. Attached to EXPED’s slit cord suspension line via tie-off cords, enough tension is created to form a ridgeline for plenty of headroom. Draw cords and toggles at each end close around the suspension line to eliminate even the most tenacious and adventurous invaders. Three pairs of loops, sewn into the netting perpendicular to the hanging axis, allow poles or foraged sticks to be used as spreader bars, further increasing interior space (see video below). An opening at the bottom allows comfortable entry and exit and a draw cord and toggle closes it against unwanted companions.
