It's the return of our Easter eggs! Every year we partner up with ornithologist Dr. Karla Rivera (a bird nerd if you will) to make our eggs imPeckably match the natural color of each species found in the wild. We bet bird mommas would have a hard time picking the right one! Our Tinamou bird eggs contain salted caramel layered on toasted brown butter corn flakes in hazelnut praline. Bird Fact: There are 48 species of Tinamous and many live in the same areas. While they have a dull plumage, many species lay brightly colored eggs including magenta, pink, purple and like our chocolate egg, turquoise. However, the reason behind these bright colors has remained a mystery.
