Excellent compression set resistance for maximum service life and vibration absorption. Long-lasting automotive grade EPDM rubber is preferred by professional installers over PVC/foam seals. No need to replace this seal every time your cap is removed. Measures 1" width x 1.125" height, 5 1/2ft length.   Use Front Rail Seal XL to fill an extra large front bulkhead rail gap from .488" to .937" when mounting a truck cap or camper shell. Adheres to the truck's front bulkhead rail. For the cap's side base rails install a high quality Extruded Solutions Truck Cap Seal 20ft (see choices below). To determine if you need a Front Rail Seal measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail. If the height of the front rail gap is less than .251" just install a 20ft or 23ft truck cap seal (see choices below) on the cap's front and side base rails. No need for a Front Rail Seal.
