EMBOSSED ALLIGATOR COWHIDE DARK COGNAC

Embossed alligator cowhide in classic dark sierra cognac. Available to order as a 21-square foot hide. As with any real skin, there may be slight variations in dye color, shape, and size.  This medium weight embossed leather is polished and features a smooth texture on the face with a dry parchment-like backside. Pressure from embossment has left an impression on both sides of cowhide. This hide is stiff, holds a memory of past forms, and springs crisply back into shape. Ideal for use in apparel projects, footwear, upholstery, and accessory construction (ex. bags, wallets). These leathers are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
