The German Army of World War II developed and deployed many half-track-type vehicles to increase the mobility of their troopers. Among them, the Sd.Kfz.251 is an armored personnel carrier type based on the body of a three-ton half track. Production began in 1939, and it was widely used on various fronts. It became a representative vehicle for German military personnel carriers, with many variations developed. One of these was the command type Sd.Kfz.251/6. This vehicle was a command vehicle for senior officers, and was used to take command at the front. Initially, it was equipped with Fu.11 and Fu.Tr radios, but later versions had the radios changed to Fu.19 and Fu.12.
