Begonia soli-mutata

'Sun Changing Begonia' is an evergreen, creeping, rhizomatous begonia native to Brazil. It's leaves are heart-shaped and distinctly patterned-dark green, lime-green veins and scarlet edges. The upper leaf surface has a pebbly, uneven texture. The color of the leaves can change with the intensity of light, becoming darker with more light. Begonia soli-mutata produces clusters of small, white flowers. Prefers partial shade, well-draining soil and high humidity. It makes a good container plant. (Pot size: 6")
