SOUTH BEND 13" Metal LATHE METRIC TRANSPOSING GEAR  3D Printed NEW This is a one piece design 47/37 transposing gear (change gear).  This is a 3D plastic printed gear designed to fit the South Bend 13" lathe with 8TPI lead screw.   Gear Face Width = .625" (5/8) Center bore = .625" (5/8) Teeth = 37 and 47 14 DP (Diametral Pitch)   Center bore is bushed to provide long life wear characteristics. This combination of sizes (47/37) is commonly used for transposing the feeds on metal lathes for cutting metric sized threads. While not truly perfect, the margin of error is .021% or .0026" per foot.
