Rewilding

'Rewilding' is a 14x14 inch hand-carved linoleum block print offered on four different paper color options: natural white, natural brown, natural green, and bright green. 'Rewilding' is a print featuring a fat Black femme as they are surrounded by greenery and mushrooms. The figure's backside is facing the audience and they are encapsulated by rays of light, beckoning them deeper into the wild. 'Rewilding' is inspired by all that it takes to heal your inner self as a Black femme who has experienced exorbitant trauma. What will hold us and will be of great comfort to us and our healing selves, is nature. When we dare to let ourselves' Rewild', we let go of expectations of how we should look and what we should do, and instead let ourselves be encapsulated by lush flora.   *Please note that due to the nature of hand-carved linoleum block printing, every print will have its own unique quality.
