1930s Sequin and Velvet Dress | wounded bird

era: late 30s or early 40s size: small bust: 35"waist: 27"hip: 40"bodice length: 16"total length: 48" really interesting lace/net/soutache bodice decorated with opaly blue sequin flowers with metal-back rhinestone and mirror centers. lush black silk velvet skirt. two excellent old metal Talon zippers. sleeves have inner stiff net "pads" to give shape. a really nicely-made piece! condition: skirt is excellent. lace bodice is dry, has multiple splits, and will need reinforcement/restoration to be worn for any length of time. could work for a photoshoot, or a rework project (the skirt is still nearly perfect and there's so many great elements to be salvaged!) *wounded bird items are flawed, may need repair, or may have limited life expectancy, (major flaws are noted), sold at a discount, AS IS, and not eligible for returns. please reach out with any questions prior to purchase.  __________________ review sizing and condition charts reviewing shipping + returns policies questions? join us
