Rondell Meeks : tooled Dark Clay + Porcelain Slip vase

Tooled vase : hand thrown in the Hudson Valley by Rondell Meeks using dark clay with a porcelain slip. The shapes and turbulent surfaces are made together on the wheel using a variety of homemade tools. The form is made without touching the outside, distorting and stretching the surface in appealing ways. The interiors are a satiny black, which blushes blue in light.
