HOLLORAN PINOT NOIR LE PAVILLON VINEYARD 2021

Take a top small production "artisan" producer, get his best vineyard site and arguably one of his best vintages, and what do you get? In our opinion, a simply stunning example of Oregon Pinot Noir. Located in the Red Hills of Dundee, Le Pavillon has volcanic soils (Jory) planted back in 1972-74 and represents the oldest vines of the estate. The wine is impeccably balanced with layered bright Pinot fruit wrapped in black tea and Asian spice notes. This is textbook Willamette Valley Pinot and in our opinion one of the best of the 2021's.
