Las Jaras Glou Glou 2023 750ml Las Jaras is the dream of both Eric Wareheim and Joel Burt. Their vision of turning wine from a simple beverage into a lifestyle is executed through the lens of Las Jaras. While the roots of the winemaking is done with little intervention and celebrates the unique terroir that can be found all over California, their entire goal aims for these wines to be integrated into the fun moments in life, like eating burgers and pizza. It's a wine that's made with a simple style and made to be drunk for pleasure.  With the ongoing fruit scarcity in California, the shift from making natural wines from a single variety to blends of multiple varieties has been an ongoing pivot. "Glou Glou" is a field blend of both red and white fruit made into a style the French consider a "vin de soif" or wine for glugging. This wine is more about the winemaking as carbonic maceration is used to keep it fresh and fruity, though it's still complex and layered. Drink it chilled.
